Since its inception in 1999, The Canadian Private Investigators Resource Center has gone through several metamorphisms. From its humble beginnings during a time when valuable open-source information began to appear throughout the World Wide Web yet still scattered amongst obscure websites that would often times disappear into anonymity forever losing beneficial information.
Initially, www.CPIRC.com was created as a one-page private website meant to be shared amongst a small handful of investigators located at different locations. Within the first few months it spread across Canada and the U.S. and within 3 years investigators from around the globe were partaking in the exchange of information through the online database.
Today, our members consist of, not only seasoned investigators, but also investigative journalists, information brokers, newcomers to the field and people from every walk of life, who are just looking for information.
This first entry in “The Investigator’s Journal” is an homage to all those who have come before and to those who come seeking knowledge.
